Pin grading

A Grade Pins

A grade pins are near perfect pins. They may have some very minor imperfections that are only visible upon close inspection  

Examples of imperfections: 

- Minor dust or air bubbles in the enamel  

- Stray glitter in the epoxy  

- Minor flaws around the outer edges 

- Light scratches or scuffing  

*The back of the pin is not considered in the grading with the exception of the pin posts. 

B Grade Pins

B grade pins have a few more imperfections than the A grade pins but are still great pins! 

Examples of imperfections  

- Air bubbles or dust in the enamel  

- Scratches scuffs or minor chips in more than 2 areas 

- Under filled or over filled enamel in small areas  

- Slight discoloration of metal or enamel  

- Slightly misprinted screen printing

C Grade Pins

C grade pins have a few noticeable imperfections that can be seen once looking at the pin. These are great for display on bags and back packs! 

Examples of imperfections: 

- Missing enamel in some areas  

- Low fill or over fill of enamel in large areas  

- Wrong enamel fill colors  

- Discolored or chipped metal plating  

- Scratches, scuffs or dents that are visible  

- Faulty or loose pin posts

Oppsies

These are pins graded lower than a C grade and are available for steep discount
